For customers in The Netherlands we offer free returns with PostNL. A return label is added to the parcel with a brief explanation of how things work.
Every order comes with a 14-days return-and-money-back guarantee, which allows you to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days starting the next day after delivery. We have explained the Withdrawal term more extensively below.
In any case it is important that the items are returned within the 14-day term, unused and undamaged. We allow for items to be tried on, but won't accept returned items that have been worn.
If there is a label in the way while trying it on, you can take it off as long as you make sure that you enclose it when you return the item. Items that are stained, damaged or that smell – including smelling like smoke –will not be accepted. We advise therefore to quickly decide if you want to keep the article(s) after receiving your order.
In the parcel you’ll find a return/ withdrawal form and an address label; fix this last on to the box your order arrived in or a similarly robust box and just ship the parcel back with a courier service provider of your choosing.
On the withdrawal form, you can leave your order number, IBAN bank account number and other details so that we can refund the invoiced amount. Note: the bank account number is not obligatory. If you don’t fill it out any bank account details, we will credit the reimbursement to the account from which you’ve paid for the order (credit card, PayPal etc) We will do so as soon as we have received the undamaged and unused returned item or items. Usually you will have your money back within 5-10 business days.
If you wish to return an item from abroad, please take into account that return shipping costs are not refunded by Outdoorbrands. They may vary between € 7,5 and € 15,- depending on your country of residence.
When buying things online, it can happen that the size, fit or colour of a product does not meet your expectations. We try to prevent this by using specific size charts and showing pictures of the actual products.
If you like to exchange an article, almost the same conditions as described under 'Returning' apply.
Instead of the invoice sum you’ll receive the new article. You do not have to pay additional shipping fees.
As mentioned, the return window expires 14 days after you or a designated third party that is not the carrier, takes physical possession of the order.
It is important to note that you’ll always be on time if your return the items within this time frame. If you use our PostNL return service it is free of charge. Charges incurred by using another carrier are not refunded. Please keep the proof of receipt you get when posting the return shipment until we notify you. You might need the receipt to show that you returned the items before the return window expired.
You can exercise your right to return items by sending us a clear message – via post or e-mail – letting us know that you wish to rescind on the sale.
To do this, you can use the return form (PDF) that is attached to the order confirmation e-mail or download it from our website: Withdrawal-Form . We emphasize that you are not obliged to use this form. To fulfil the conditions of the rescinding policy, it suffices to make your intent to return items known to us and return the items within this time frame before the return window expires.
When you rescind an order and are not looking for an exchange, you will get all payments made up to that point reimbursed as soon as possible. You can fill in the IBAN bank account details on the return form which will be present in the parcel you received and the money will be deposited in that account. Reimbursement in this manner is free of charge.
Items you do not wish to keep should be returned to us no later than the withdrawal term of 14 days but we appreciate it when you send them back as soon as possible after your decision to rescind on the agreement. As mentioned, you will be on time if you send the items back before the 14 day window expires.
We reserve the (legal-)right to withhold the reimbursement until we have received the item or items or until you have proven that you sent the item or items to us.
While you are allowed to try the clothes you ordered to see if they fit, we cannot accept items that have been worn or used or missing originals labels. Failure to comply with this condition will make you liable for any damages that are the result of use beyond the point necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and fit of the items.
