They are basically made of organic cotton but just by adding only 2% Spandex Patagonia has made a plain weave fabric that is surprisingly stretchy.

The Venga Rock is soft, light and has the looks of a regular, classic cotton pants. With the stretch, the burliness to withstand scumming, the unique adjustable OppoSet™ button closure for a customized fit, gusseted crotch and articulated knee’s they are all about comfort and mobility.
