A hardshell is a technically advanced wind and waterproof jacket, which you as an urban outdoor fan, absolutely need to have when you want to make your outdoor day weatherproof.

Just as with regular rain clothes, it is rain proof. However, a hardshell offers the capacity to vent perspiration through microscopic pores; this is called being “breathable.” This combination of characteristics and the many handy extra’s that hardshells offer, makes that this is the best jacket choice if you are a fan of an active outside life, and that you’ll stay comfortable, even when you engage in moderate exercise.  

The hardshells we offer do not have an insulating lining, so choose a fitting base layer like a 150 gram/m2 Merino wool shirt in combination with a nice fleece waistcoat/ jacket (mid-layer); that way, you’ll have a perfect outfit for colder circumstances.
